Doctor John is a real Emergency Physician from California. He trained at UC Irvine School of Medicine and at the Stanford Emergency Medicine Residency Program. Doctor John practiced for over ten years at Kaiser Permanente where he also served as a physician executive. Doctor John led Telehealth programs for Kaiser Northern California and ran programs to treat patients with mental health crises and substance use disorders. He led innovation and performance improvement programs for The Permanente Medical Group.

He now focuses on developing educational videos for children about health and how the body works on the Doctor John Show!
